Women's Boxing in Richmond Hill

Our women-only boxing classes give you a space to learn real boxing technique alongside other women, in a supportive class that is separate from our men’s classes. Whether you want to get stronger, build confidence or learn practical self-defence fundamentals, you can start here.

Never boxed before? That is completely fine. Beginners are welcome, and you do not need to be fit before your first session.

Women-Only Boxing Classes

These are women-only boxing classes. They run separately from the academy’s men’s classes, so everyone in the room is there to train in the same environment.

Many women prefer to learn something new without worrying about being watched or compared. A women-focused class makes it easier to ask questions, make mistakes and learn at a steady pace.

The classes are designed for women who want to:

  • Try boxing for the first time
  • Improve strength and general fitness
  • Learn technique and coordination
  • Train with other women in Richmond Hill

Academy to confirm before publishing: the exact class format, any age requirements and the coach arrangement.

Beginner Women's Boxing Classes

Starting boxing can feel intimidating. You may not know the stance, the terms or what the class will ask of you. Those are normal worries, and every boxer has had them.

You do not need previous experience, and you do not need to be in shape first. Training builds fitness over time, and you work at your own level.

  • No experience? You learn the basics step by step, starting with stance and movement.
  • Unfamiliar with technique? Coaches show you how to throw punches properly and safely.
  • Nervous about your first class? Booking a free trial lets you see the class before you commit.
  • Worried about fitness? Fitness is something you build, not something you need on day one.

What You Gain From Women's Boxing Training

Boxing is a skill-based sport. Progress comes from regular practice, and the benefits tend to build gradually.

Strength and Fitness

Boxing training is a full-body workout that works your arms, shoulders, core and legs, and builds stamina over time.

Technique and Coordination

Learning footwork, punches and defence sharpens balance, timing and body awareness.

Confidence

Confidence grows as you learn a new skill and see yourself improve from week to week.

Self-Defence Fundamentals

Boxing teaches stance, distance and movement, which are useful foundations for women’s self-defence. It does not guarantee personal safety.

Structured Activity

A class gives your week a routine, with a coach leading the session so you always know what comes next.

A Supportive Group

Training alongside other women gives you people to learn with and encouragement when it gets hard.

Coaching and Training Environment

Good boxing instruction starts with technique. Learning the fundamentals correctly protects you from bad habits and helps you progress faster.

Practice is controlled and built up gradually, so you learn each skill before moving to the next. The goal is a class where you feel looked after while you are challenged.

At Cheriki Boxing Academy, you can expect coaching that focuses on fundamentals and a respectful, encouraging atmosphere.
